Kayaking + Notch Brewing Social – Young Alumni Event

• Please note the location change! There is a cyanobacteria outbreak down by Kendall Square, so we have relocated further upstream in order to keep everyone safe and healthy!

Join us for a fun summer morning on the Charles! We’re kicking things off with a group kayaking session from Paddle Boston in Allston Brighton. We’ll paddle for about 90 minutes, then regroup for lunch at Notch Brewing nearby.

This is a great chance to connect with other young Gator alumni in the Boston area — whether you're new to the city or just looking for an excuse to get outside and meet some fellow Gators.

🛶 What to Expect:

• 10:00 AM: Arrive at Paddle Boston in Allston Brighton

  (Parking is available in Herter Park)

• 10:15 AM – 11:45 AM: Kayaking on the Charles River

• 12:00 PM: Head over to Notch Brewing for food and conversation

✅ What to Bring:

Water bottle

• Sunscreen

• Towel

• Change of clothes (optional)

• Plastic bag for personal items

• A good attitude and some Gator spirit 🐊

Kayaking on the Charles is beginner-friendly and generally calm. We'll likely cover a round of appetizers at Notch, but attendees will be responsible for their own meals and drinks.

Please register by Friday, August 8th at 5 PM so we can reserve enough space at the restaurant.

Walk-ins are welcome to join us on the river but may not be guaranteed a seat at lunch.
