Every year, the University of Florida recognizes 40 outstanding Gators under the age of 40 who are making a meaningful difference in their industries, communities, and the world.
If you know a Gator who’s doing great things in their field or making a big impact through service, this is the moment to lift them up. And if you’re that Gator? Don’t be shy! This is your time to shine.

As we begin a new year with the New England Gator Club®, I want to take a moment to reflect on how far we’ve come and share where we’re headed next.

Big Year. Big Plans. Big Thanks.
The 2024–2025 club year is wrapping up, and wow, what a year. We grew, we gave back, we showed up. Now we’re looking ahead to even more.
But before we dive into what’s next, I want to take a moment to reflect and say thank you.

Gators at Boston Pride: Joy, Visibility, and Belonging
On June 14, members of the New England Gator Club® gathered near the Public Garden to take in the 2025 Boston Pride Parade - a celebration of love, identity, and community.

Meet the 2025–2026 New England Gator Club® Board
We’re excited to announce the results of our 2025–2026 board elections! Elections were held during our public board meeting on May 20 at Night Shift Brewing – Lovejoy Wharf, and we’re proud to introduce the dedicated volunteers who will be leading the New England Gator Club® in the year ahead.

International Gator Day Recap: Cleaning Up Carson Beach
On Saturday, May 10, the New England Gator Club® joined Gators around the globe for the 25th Annual International Gator Day, a day of service that unites the Gator Nation® in giving back to our local communities.

Looking for a reason to head south this summer? Mark your calendars for one of the University of Florida’s most vibrant alumni events: the 2025 Gator Guayabera Guateque, hosted by the UF Association of Hispanic Alumni (AHA)!

2025–26 Scholarship Applications Are Now Open
Every year, we’re proud to award scholarships to incoming and current UF undergraduate students from the six New England states—Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont. For the coming year, we’ve increased our scholarship award to $1,250, and we expect to award three scholarships to students attending UF in Fall 2025 and Spring 2026.

New England Gator Club® Shines at the Alumni Volunteer Leadership Conference
The New England Gator Club® had an incredible experience at the Alumni Volunteer Leadership Conference (AVLC), where four of our board members—Tyrel, Tyler, Sarah, and Maria—represented our club in Gainesville. We attended insightful sessions, connected with fellow Gators from across the country, and even walked away with two Clubbie Awards!

Gator Nation Giving Day 2025 Recap: A Record-Breaking Success!
Gator Nation Giving Day 2025 was one for the books! Our goal was to raise $2,400, but thanks to the generosity of our incredible Gator community, we smashed that milestone by noon and raised the bar to $3,500. By the end of the day, we had raised $3,617 from 38 donors, surpassing our new goal and unlocking all of our challenge gifts along the way!

Gator Nation Giving Day: Let’s Make History Together!
Mark your calendars because February 20, 2025, is a day that could change the future for students from New England heading to the University of Florida. It’s Gator Nation Giving Day (GNGD)—a time for the Gator Nation to come together and make an impact!

Gators Take Down the Razorbacks: Basketball Watch Party Recap
On January 11, the New England Gator Club® gathered at Brownstone for a basketball watch party to cheer on the Gators as they faced off against the Arkansas Razorbacks. With tip-off at 4 PM, it was the perfect way to spend an afternoon surrounded by fellow Gators, good food, and great company.

SEC Holiday Party Recap: A Night of Camaraderie and SEC Pride
On January 4, the New England Gator Club® joined forces with fellow SEC alumni groups for a night to remember at the SEC Holiday Party. Hosted at D16, a swanky new speakeasy-style cocktail bar tucked into Boston's Back Bay neighborhood, the event brought together alumni from across the SEC to celebrate the start of the new year in style.

From Momentum to Milestones: What’s Next for the NEGC in 2025
As we say goodbye to 2024 and welcome 2025, we’re filled with optimism and excitement for the year ahead. Our Gator community has grown and thrived in incredible ways this past year, and we’re eager to build on that momentum to make an even greater impact together!

Toys for Tots Volunteer Day Recap
On Saturday, December 14, the New England Gator Club® rolled up its sleeves and got to work at the Boston Toys for Tots chapter during our Toys for Tots Volunteer Day. Held at the Boston Convention Center from 9 AM to 12 PM, this event gave us a chance to contribute to a wonderful cause and spread some holiday cheer.
