Mark your calendars because February 20, 2025, is a day that could change the future for students from New England heading to the University of Florida. It’s Gator Nation Giving Day (GNGD)—a time for the Gator Nation to come together and make an impact!
At the New England Gator Club®, our mission is clear: to empower the next generation of New England Gators by supporting scholarships that help students achieve their dreams at UF.
Since our club’s inception in 1995, we’ve awarded $16,000 in scholarships, thanks to the generosity of Gators like you. And that’s not all—we’ve established an endowed fund that now holds $32,000. At this level, the fund generates $1,000 in scholarships every year, forever. Imagine the difference your donation could make as we continue to grow this legacy!
This Gator Nation Giving Day, every dollar donated to our scholarship goes directly into the endowment, amplifying its long-term impact. Together, we can ensure that deserving students have the opportunity to become Gators, no matter the financial barriers.
But we can’t do it without your help—and we’ve got an exciting opportunity to make your gift go even further! Four generous alumni from our network have offered to boost our impact with the following challenge and matching gifts:
$400 unlocked when we reach 10 donors
$200 unlocked when we reach 20 donors
$1,000 matched dollar-for-dollar (excluding other matching gifts)
That means every donation counts, especially if we can hit these milestones! Whether you can give $1, $20, or more, it all adds up to a brighter future for our New England Gators.
