2025–26 Scholarship Applications Are Now Open

Gator Nation,

I’m excited to share that the New England Gator Club® scholarship application for the 2025–26 academic year is officially open!

Every year, we’re proud to award scholarships to incoming and current UF undergraduate students from the six New England states—Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont. For the coming year, we’ve increased our scholarship award to $1,250, and we expect to award three scholarships to students attending UF in Fall 2025 and Spring 2026.

Our scholarship program exists because of generous Gators who came before you—and we hope our recipients will one day do the same. With that in mind, our selection process looks beyond GPAs and test scores. We’re seeking students who bring energy, heart, and a unique story to the Gator Nation.

We want to see what makes you you.

Here’s what tends to stand out in a strong application:

  • A personal statement that’s truly personal—one that reflects your goals, your story, and what makes you excited about becoming (or continuing as) a Gator.

  • Enthusiasm! We love students who are passionate about what they’re studying—even if they’re still figuring out what that is.

  • A desire to connect with the Gator community—whether that’s your classmates, fellow alumni, or future Gators you may one day mentor.

  • A demonstrated love for UF—whether it’s about academics, sports, research, tradition, or something else.

  • Financial or structural barriers that have made your path a little tougher, or a focus on impactful or in-demand fields like social work, education, healthcare, or tech.

  • Service to others, whether through clubs, teams, leadership, or volunteer efforts.

The deadline to apply is Monday, June 30, 2025 at 11:59 PM EST.
