Community Service Event: Earth Day Cleanup with Charles River Conservancy

  • Magazine Beach Park 668 Memorial Drive Cambridge, MA, 02139 United States (map)

Join us for the Charles River Conservancy’s 27th annual Earth Day Charles River Cleanup and give back to the river and parks that serve as a centerpiece of our community. This impactful event builds awareness and raises funds in support of a cleaner, healthier, and more accessible Charles River.

Breakfast refreshments will be available at the park beforehand from 9:00-9:45am.

🌱 Volunteer Activities:
Volunteers will work in groups to clean up an assigned stretch of the Charles River Basin, which may include areas in Cambridge, Watertown, and Allston/Brighton. Activities include picking up litter along the riverbanks and surrounding park areas to help protect the river and its ecosystems.

📍 Our Group’s Assigned Location: Magazine Beach Park in Cambridge, MA

👕 We suggest wearing close-toed shoes and comfortable clothing for this cleanup. Bringing work gloves is also encouraged if you have them.
