Join us for a meaningful volunteer opportunity supporting Haley House Soup Kitchen, an organization that uses food with purpose and the power of community to break down barriers, empower individuals, and strengthen neighborhoods. Haley House offers fresh, made-from-scratch meals six days a week, bringing people together to foster friendship, dignity, and meaningful community.
🍲 Volunteer Activities:
Volunteers will work together to prepare, cook, and serve a fresh and hearty meal buffet-style for guests. During breaks, volunteers are welcome to enjoy the meal and sit down to chat with guests. At the end of the shift, we will assist with clean-up.
Each shift concludes with a brief reflection shared with guests and volunteers, encouraging thoughtful conversation around inequality, hunger, poverty, and creative alternatives that promote connection and understanding.
