Apply for the Gator100!

Calling All Gator Entrepreneurs: Apply for the Gator100!

If you're a UF alum with a business on the rise, now’s your time to shine! The University of Florida Alumni Association is once again celebrating Gator-led companies through the annual Gator100 program. This prestigious award highlights the world’s 100 fastest-growing businesses owned or led by Gators, recognizing innovation, resilience, and the entrepreneurial spirit that drives us forward.

A Shoutout to a Local Gator Success
One of our own past winners, Ironside Insurance Group, embodies what it means to be a part of the Gator100. Founded by UF alum Joshua Shotts (BS ’06) in downtown Boston, Ironside has grown to become a recognized leader in the insurance industry by staying true to the values of integrity, adaptability, and always putting clients first.

If your company has shown similar growth and leadership, we encourage you to apply and join the ranks of incredible Gator-led businesses like Ironside.

Application Criteria (Summary): To qualify, your business must:

  • Be led or owned by a UF alum (owner, CEO, or managing partner)

  • Have at least $250,000 in annual revenue for three full years (2021, 2022, and 2023)

  • Meet additional eligibility requirements listed on the Gator100 criteria page

Why Apply?
Becoming part of the Gator100 doesn’t just bring prestige—it’s a chance to expand your network with past and current honorees, gain visibility across national, local, and industry media, and inspire fellow Gators to pursue their own dreams of “Going Greater.”

With only two weeks left to apply, don’t wait! The deadline to apply is November 30, 2024. Learn more and apply here to see if your business is ready to join the ranks of the fastest-growing Gator-led companies.

Let’s keep building the legacy of Gator entrepreneurship together! Go Gators!
